Guinea Pages

I have always loved to look at guineas, something about them enchants me.
I can remember one of my grandmothers having some when I was growing up.
Whether it is there shape or odd looking little head;
I am just fascinated with them. Finally this year,
I aquired some of these strange birds.

They are native to Africa and were domesticated for there flesh
and as watchdogs. They live on the ground and feed on seeds and
insects. When alarmed they will run, but can fly short distances if necessary.
When they suspect somebody or something strange, they get really loud, being why
they are used for watchdogs.
