I have been researching my family tree for over six years.
In addition to doing interviews and biographies, I thought it would be interesting and fun
to include events and things about people in my family in the form of poetry.

Some of the stories I want to tell, seem more appropirate and interesting told
in poetry form. So myself, a sister, and a niece have been putting
family memories to this form of writing. In addition to my genealogy research,
I hope these poems will add to my genealogy research.

So many small things in our lives are forgotten, so hopefully
these poems will spark memories for some and new insights to others and
enlightenment for some of our descendents.

We have lots to tell, so we will be working on these for quite some
time and I will be adding more poems as we finish them.
I hope to use some pictures, for the subject matter, from our
family photos.

Finally the events or people are all factial and the subject
matter is true. We are not fabricating anything in these.
All is done in love, not meant to embarress or belittle anyone.
Our only desire is to preserve the memories.
